The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) today came out to demonstrate against the excessive under-funding of our higher institutions and show of no concern with ASUU demands. Many of them believed that the extravagance of the Federal Government and National Assembly is too much; buying cars almost every quarter, about 10 planes for the presidency, same apply to the senate and lower house. They of the view that it is time someone or group of people start asking questions from our leaders before the whole system fails which is in agreement with what the National Coordinator of Regeneration youth of Nigeria emphasis in his communique some weeks back.
The RYN will join the struggle along with the student in ensuring the higher institutions in our great country are well funded, just like any other great countries are doing. Education is the driver of sustainable future and should be a right thing for all.
